EPISODE SUMMARY:

We all go through a period of self-discovery. Whether it’s years or days is entirely up to the individual. For comedian Rosebud Baker, a major part of her journey to find herself took place in the early 2000s in a New York that was slowly becoming a sanitized version of itself. Wealthy white kids were transforming Brooklyn into a whimsical adult playground, all to the sound of Columbia University graduates and indie pop darlings Vampire Weekend’s 2007 self-titled debut album. While Rosebud may look back on those times with both nostalgic fondness and cringing embarrassment, she wouldn’t be the incredible talent she is today, featured in Amazon's Inside Jokes and Comedy Central's Bill Burr presents The Ringers, without those experiences.
