EPISODE SUMMARY:

Every artist, no matter how transcendent in popularity and acclaim, starts their journey somewhere. And even the English post-punk trio The Police initially had some difficulty gaining traction with their 1978 debut album Outlandos d’Amour, before they later went on to become “the biggest band in the world” for a time. Their storied career is not unlike that of actor and comedian Matt Braunger whose love of life’s absurdities has lead through many different stages, beginning with improv, evolving into credits such as MadTV, Marvel’s Agent Carter, and eventually leading to the release of several stand-up albums, including his most recent Finally Live in Portland.
